Getting Here
The Land of Adventures (at the location of the former Land of Little Horses) is located at 125 Glenwood Drive, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Our family-friendly venue sits on a scenic rural property just west of downtown Gettysburg in Adams County, Pennsylvania. Its position near major routes makes it convenient for visitors exploring Gettysburg’s Civil War history, orchards, and other attractions. It lies a short drive from US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway/York Street/Chambersburg Road) and US Route 15, placing it within easy reach for day trips from nearby cities like Harrisburg, Baltimore, Frederick, or York.
From the South (Washington, DC, Frederick, MD, or Emmitsburg, MD):
Take US Route 15 North toward Gettysburg. Pass through Emmitsburg and continue north and take the York Street (US Route 30) exit, turning left onto Route 30 West. Drive west through Gettysburg’s town center and the main square (Lincoln Square). Continue approximately 3 miles west on Route 30. Turn left onto Knoxlyn Road, proceed about 2 miles, then turn right onto Glenwood Drive. The entrance to the park will be on your right after about a quarter mile.
From the North (Harrisburg, or points farther north):
Follow US Route 15 South to Gettysburg. Take the Route 30/York Street exit and turn right (west) onto Route 30. Head west through town past the historic square for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Knoxlyn Road, drive roughly 2 miles, then turn right onto Glenwood Drive. The park entrance is shortly ahead on the right.
From the East (York, Lancaster, Philadelphia):
Take US Route 30 West directly into Gettysburg. Pass through the town center and continue west on Route 30 for several miles beyond the main battlefield areas. Turn left onto Knoxlyn Road (watch for signage), travel about 2 miles, and turn right onto Glenwood Drive. The entrance follows soon after
From the West (e.g., Chambersburg, or Pittsburgh areas):
Drive east on US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) toward Gettysburg. After passing through more rural western Adams County, continue into the Gettysburg area. Look for Knoxlyn Road on your right before reaching the denser town center (or adjust via local roads if approaching via other connectors). Turn right onto Knoxlyn Road, proceed about 1–2 miles depending on the exact approach, then turn right onto Glenwood Drive to the park entrance on the right.
Our location just off Route 30 west of town center is conveniently accessible without heavy downtown traffic, while remaining close to Gettysburg’s key sites, hotels, and amenities.
